Audiometric testing
Hearing Conservation
Service Description
Audiometric testing is a mandatory service for employers whose workers are exposed to noise levels at or above an 8-hour Time-Weighted Average (TWA) of 85 decibels. Under OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.95, this testing is a core pillar of a required Hearing Conservation Program. We will help you achieve this and keep track of Baseline Audiograms: A reference test conducted within 6 months of an employee's first exposure. We will compare the Annual Audiograms: Yearly tests compared against the baseline to detect any Standard Threshold Shift (STS) an average hearing loss of 10 dB or more at 2000, 3000, and 4000 Hz. Our Qualified Personnel will work with you to ensure compliance.
